Senior Backend Engineer

A Senior Backend Engineer with over six years of professional experience, specialising in backend engineering. Currently, I work as a Senior Backend Engineer at MYGEECS, an EdTech startup that helps people unlock global educational opportunities. I was previously a Software Engineer at Geneo Software, a UK-based technology company. Before that, I was part of the core engineering team that built Disha, a no-code creator platform that allows users to create personalised and customisable web pages. Disha was acquired in 2021 by Flutterwave, one of Africa's leading fintech companies.

In 2025, I was invited to serve as a technical reviewer and judge for international organisations including the Society of Women Engineers, the TrustAI Workshop at Deep Learning Indaba, DHASA, IEEE SysCon, and IEEE EDUCON. In January 2026, I was featured as a named expert in The Punch, Nigeria's most widely read newspaper, speaking on engineering talent and product-minded development in Africa's technology sector.

I have also worked as the Lead Engineer at Digicrown, where I led the development of platforms such as Sidegig.co and Likes.ng. I enjoy taking on pivotal roles that shape the overall direction and success of projects. Some of my works also include foragestores.com, a web app that allows families to buy and subscribe to food bundles. I have extensive experience building both B2C and B2B products, and I thrive in environments that encourage innovation and collaboration.
